E61 Group Head
The E61 group head, a professional-grade and widely used group configuration, is favored by many manufacturers for its reliability and availability of repair parts at affordable prices.
With any E61 brew head, you’ll get pre-infusion of water that helps settle the grounds within the bed of coffee. This is a mechanical pre-infusion and should not be confused with other more controllable methods of achieving pre-infusion. To add control of pre-infusion and flow you might consider installing an E61 flow control device.
Gauges
Located just below the brew lever, the black boiler pressure gauge is both aesthetically appealing and conveniently situated on the front of the machine, making it easy to monitor the machine's vitals.
No-Burn Wands
The stainless steel hot water and steam wands now feature teflon tubing instead of silicone, which was previously used before 2020.
Steaming Milk

If you need more time to perfect your micro foam, simply adjust the steam knob to reduce the steam flow.
Water Tank
The Rocket Appartamento features a bottom-fed tank (also known as a reservoir) that can hold over two liters of water. The tank is located underneath the cup warmer on the top of the machine, towards the back. This allows for easy removal and refilling of the tank without having to move any silicone tubing.
Vibratory Pump
The Rocket Appartamento espresso machine features a powerful 52-watt vibratory pump, one of the most commonly used pumps in home espresso machines due to its reliability and strength. With added measures to reduce the vibrations, Rocket has successfully created a machine with a pleasantly low noise level, ensuring minimal disturbance for your household.
Eco Mode
The Rocket Appartamento espresso machine now features an Economy (ECO) Mode, making it even more advanced. To activate ECO Mode, simply use the simple on and off button located on the front right, near the brew lever. Once engaged, the machine will automatically shut down after 90 minutes. When you're ready to start it back up, just lift the brew lever and the heating element will turn on. Please note that ECO Mode will not activate during bench testing.
