The new Turin DF64V is a great single dose variable speed grinder that will compete very well with grinders in its category.
The Turin DF64V Grinder boasts superior components for enhanced durability and dependability. With its 64MM DLC Flat burrs, this grinder produces consistent and fluffy grounds while the Diamond-Like-Coated burrs increase longevity by 10 times compared to steel. Additionally, the variable speed motor allows for customizable grinding speed. Despite its cost-effective price, the DF64V is made with premium materials and includes a detachable popcorning device and outlet chute, making cleaning effortless and efficient with the help of magnets.
Thanks to its high-performance DC motor, the Turin DF64V Grinder surpasses most other grinders in the 64mm and below category with ease. In fact, it's the fastest single-dose grinder available in this range. What makes the new DF64V stand out is the innovative RPM rotary knob feature, which allows you to adjust the speed from 900-1800RPM. This provides a wide variety of options for you to experiment with and create a personalized coffee experience. Even at its highest speed of 1800RPM, the motor operates quietly, ensuring a tranquil coffee-making process.
Featuring a sleek and minimalist design, the DF64V Grinder is a must-have for any kitchen or coffee area. Its RPM adjustment, smooth edge finishes, and sophisticated metal coating make it visually appealing, while the pure metal CNC cup and wooden base add a touch of elegance and durability to the overall design. Designed for both style and function, this grinder is the perfect choice for those seeking a modern and practical addition to their setup.
The design of the DF64V Coffee Grinder is optimized for functionality and convenience. Utilizing a rubber bellow and wooden lid top, the grinder effectively removes air from the burrs and grounds chute, minimizing retention of grounds. This added feature enhances the grinder's streamlined, stylish appearance and overall usability.
The versatile DF64V Grinder is the ideal tool for coffee enthusiasts looking to explore different brewing techniques. This high-quality and high-performance grinder is suitable for any brewing method, be it Espresso, V60 Filter, or Coarse Cold brew. Featuring a built-in grind size indicator, the new DF64V eliminates the need for an external grind size indicator ring, providing a convenient and efficient solution for adjusting grind size and achieving the perfect brew.

The burr is nice and sharp. The adjustability is good. However it jams if its not a hot atart and it gave trouble turinong off at first. It tends to be messy as there is not a good captur method for the coffee grinds.

The grinder performs exactly as expected and offers excellent value for the price.
I'm very satisfied with the service from Espresso Outlet.

Good Value and Good Shots
I've only had my DF64V for a few weeks, having run about a pound and a half of beans through it. I didn't break the burrs in with a few kilos of cheap coffee as, I'd rather endure the break-in than waste the hard work of the pickers.
So with the combination of some burr break-in and getting to know my beans, I'm pulling some great shots.
I can't speak to random comments about stalling, as I consider that to be misuse of the grinder (i.e. light roasted beans, ground at 800 rpm for espresso).
I've been grinding medium light beans at 1200 rpm and my shots are coming out predictably.
Noise was a concern, as it's difficult to get a handle on noise from the YouTube reviews, but I'd call it minimal, but high-pitched (when grinding). When not grinding, I have to feel the case for subtle vibrations to tell if it's on.
I find the bellows to be useful, unlike most YouTube reviewers. I'm not sure how much the ionizer works, but with with a couple of RDT sprays, I'm consistently getting from 17.9 to 18.0 g out when loading 18.0 g.
I love the magnetic chute. This is a brilliant idea!

Love everything about it but the plasma anti-static stays on so I have to unplug daily (I understand I can open up the machine and easily fix but have not done so yet and really should not have to on a new machine). But it grinds great and looks great. The cup does not fit too well so it does not look straight which bugs me a bit.

Amazing grinder. Couldn't be happier with it. Shipped fast.
I am overwhelmed at how Espresso Outlet’s Turin Pour Over scale performs and at such an affordable price point as I find it far superior to that of my Hario V60 scale and ‘almost’ an equal to that of my Fellow Tally Pro scale… I find that this Turin scale is definitely worthy of a five star rating given its solid build quality and accurate performance time and time again in my frequent use with it and I only find a very slight difference between this and the Fellow Tally Pro is that of when I lift the container off of this Turin scale for a swirl or whatever, it turns the timer and scale functions off whereas the Fellow Tally Pro maintains my pour over’s complete precess of weight and timing until the scale is powered off… so, to remediate this difference, I have learned to use the thin handle end of a tea spoon for such in my various pour overs and French presses and this Turin scale works perfectly in this manner … so, I find that there is now literally no difference in my use of this Turin to that of my Fellow’s performance… BUT, now for the kicker… as for the price difference, the Fellow’s Tally Pro cost me well over 5 times the cost of this Turin… SO, with the given reliability of the Turin’s consistent performance and its superb build quality, the clear winner is this Turin Pour Over Scale coupled with that of the great customer care and support that Espresso Outlet & staff offers its customers…
I have definitely been spoiled with Expresso Outlet’s Turin offerings and out of the four (4) different Turin grinder models that I have acquired through EO, this CF64v with the SSP Unimodal burr set installed by EO prior to their shipping it to me is a strong equal to that of my other favorite, the DF83v…. Of which I use primarily now for espresso with its SSP red sweet burr set that also performs well for my French Press… SO, getting back to this CF64v, I find that I even have less fines in this CF64v than that of my DF83v and the other two (2) Turin grinders as I have seen, at the most, 1/10th of a gram of grind variance from that of its original start bean weight out of this CF64v and most of the time the exact same total weight as that of its original bean weight… I highly recommend this particular CF64v model to anyone looking for a very well designed and an excellent build quality grinder…. and, at such an affordable price… AS a comparison to these two favorite Turin grinders of mine as to those of my former coffee life, back in the early 1990’s I had the smaller Mazzer and, more recently, as I got back into this coffee world again a few years ago, I had purchased the Mahlkonig X54 of which these two do not even hold a candle to the overall performance and resultant low maintenance requirements of this CF64v and the DF83v in their comparison to these former grinders… AND in my daily use, I do find that this CF64v leaves far fewer internal cavity grind leftovers for a clean-up than even found in my DF83v and it ;is so much lighter in weight as well as it does not take very much countertop space to that of my DF83v… SO, all in all, if I was to choose between these two well-built/superb grinders as well as to any other manufacturer’s offerings, I am finding that I like this CF64v the more that I use it…
I've only had this for a few weeks so far, but it's been working great. Grind sizes seem relatively consistent and fluffy, and there don't appear to be any noticeable alignment issues that I can tell. Huge upgrade from a hand grinder for my workflow!
I had no idea the large gap of quality of grinder verses the Breville Smart Grinder Pro or the Baratza Encore. Massive quality jump for not much more money. Best improvement that I have made in my espresso game.

New DF54
Grinder works great so far. Have only had for about two weeks though, so we’ll see what long-term provides.

Best SD grinder I’ve had
Have also had a Turin DF64, DF83 and still have a DF64V v1. Will mention that I tried a niche for a month or two when it was so highly rated and never quite got what it’s appeal was. The DF83V is my favorite. The workflow is the same as any other SD grinder, but the factory DLC burrs at 1000 RPM produce clump free grounds and the taste from my shots is the best of all the SD grinders I’ve had. I use medium dark roast beans and make primarily lattes and caps. The DF83V is very easy to live with, low maintenance, ease of use and great tasting coffee.
Wow, amazing grinder with beautiful features. I have a 1Zpresso JX-Pro and really loved the hand grinder. Very portable to take on kayak camping weekends. However, it was time to step to an electric one for at home. Super classy in black and looks sophisticated on my coffee bar station. There are so many great grinders on the market and am happy to land on this one. There are a lot of technical features I love about this grinder. Watch reviews from Lance H, James H and others. You'll see what there is to love. There is a bit of a learning curve, but there are video's out there to help. I'm using for espresso and also pour overs. I pre-ordered and Espresso Outlet was great regarding the tariff debacle and got mine mid April. I'll definitely be ordering from them again.

In perfect condition, looks like it was never used at all. Easy to use, and makes no mess unlike my last grinder.
