What is new with the Turin DF64V Gen 2? It offers all the same great features of the original DF64V, with a few very welcome improvements
Variable RPM Adjustment
The DF64V Gen 1 variable from 600-1800RPM
The DF64V Gen 2 variable from 800-1800RPM
Ion Generator/Plasma Generator
What is an ion generator? Its main purpose is to manage/reduce static electricity in your coffee grounds.
Reduction of Static Cling: Grinding coffee beans can generate static electricity, which causes coffee grounds to cling to the grinder’s interior, exterior and sometimes even to your hands or the counter.
Easier Maintenance: Less static means less coffee ground residue sticking to the grinder's parts. This makes cleaning and maintaining the grinder easier, as there is less buildup to deal with.

Slow Feeder Disc
The original version of the slow feeder disc did not work as well as the latest version, so we chose not to have the gen 1 version use the slow feed disc. The gen 2 slow feed disc does a fantastic job of allowing the beans to be consistently fed into the burrs. (Gen 1 to the right, Gen 2 to the left)
