The burr is nice and sharp. The adjustability is good. However it jams if its not a hot atart and it gave trouble turinong off at first. It tends to be messy as there is not a good captur method for the coffee grinds.
I'm very satisfied with the service from Espresso Outlet.
I've only had my DF64V for a few weeks, having run about a pound and a half of beans through it. I didn't break the burrs in with a few kilos of cheap coffee as, I'd rather endure the break-in than waste the hard work of the pickers.
So with the combination of some burr break-in and getting to know my beans, I'm pulling some great shots.
I can't speak to random comments about stalling, as I consider that to be misuse of the grinder (i.e. light roasted beans, ground at 800 rpm for espresso).
I've been grinding medium light beans at 1200 rpm and my shots are coming out predictably.
Noise was a concern, as it's difficult to get a handle on noise from the YouTube reviews, but I'd call it minimal, but high-pitched (when grinding). When not grinding, I have to feel the case for subtle vibrations to tell if it's on.
I find the bellows to be useful, unlike most YouTube reviewers. I'm not sure how much the ionizer works, but with with a couple of RDT sprays, I'm consistently getting from 17.9 to 18.0 g out when loading 18.0 g.
I love the magnetic chute. This is a brilliant idea!
Love everything about it but the plasma anti-static stays on so I have to unplug daily (I understand I can open up the machine and easily fix but have not done so yet and really should not have to on a new machine). But it grinds great and looks great. The cup does not fit too well so it does not look straight which bugs me a bit.
Amazing grinder. Couldn't be happier with it. Shipped fast.

from 1075 reviewsI started my espresso journey in early 2024 with the purchase of a Breville Barista Pro, the newer version with Baratza burr set. First mod I did there was a single dose hopper. From there I began trying different coffees, experimenting with roast levels, etc. Towards the end of 2024 I realized I preferred lighter roasts, and from all the research I was doing learned that the integrated conical burr grinder in my BBP wasn't suited to getting the most out of the those lighter roasted options. After much thoughtful consideration and research, I settled on the DF64. And wow am I glad I did.
I feel like if I didn't upgrade to this grinder, my coffee obsession might've died. Getting this grinder unlocked a whole new world of espresso possibilities for me. More clarity, more consistency, and just overall better coffee experience.
This grinder is built like a TANK. And as a person who likes to tinker and mod, it's super easy to work on and clean.
Finally, I am beyond pleased with the buying and CS experience with EspressoOutlet. They are incredibly responsive, their prices are great, and the shipping was fast.
I've had this grinder a year and I'm now considering an upgrade to the DF83v v3, and I wouldn't consider buying it from anywhere else but EspressoOutlet!
The perfect budget grinder for a beginner. Works great!
it is nice and heavy and very quite so far it seems well build
Love this scale!! Measures everything out perfectly and accurately.
Love how spacious it is on my countertop! Nice design and does a fabulous job with espresso grinds. Very quiet as well.
Sleek & compact design. Love the space on top to store cups and such! Steam does a great job, and it heats up from being completely off very quickly! Very happy with this machine!
Great service and shipping. Love the personal touch of the note in the box! Such a good product and company.
I just wish the box wasn’t have the information what it’s inside “Because it was a gift for my husband” Now he knows BUT he is happy
Great machine with stylish looks. Gives you total control of dialing in your coffee. Looks great on the counter and makes the perfect cup. Excellent for home use and could also stand its ground in light commercial environment. Would love it even more if it had a double boiler.
I’m honestly beyond belief — this is one of the best pieces of gear I’ve ever received. I’ve dreamed of owning a machine like this for years, and it was worth every ounce of the wait.
What makes it stand out? It’s a professional-grade system that somehow hits an incredible budget point without compromising on features. The E61 group head is a timeless classic, and the heat-up time is shockingly fast — especially for a boiler setup.
You’ve got flow control, PID control, and the ability to pull espresso and steam milk simultaneously. It checks every box I’ve been chasing. The build quality is phenomenal, and the pump is whisper-quiet — seriously impressive.
I own a lot of gear, and this machine still managed to blow past my expectations. That says a lot.
Great delivery and grinder
I purchased the Turin Legato V2 two weeks ago and I have been blown away! As compared to my previous machine, Breville Barista Express, it is night and day! So much more control and precision. I knew the coffee would taste great and that the shots would be easy to dial in, but an unexpected surprise was how powerful the steam wand is. Even though it's a single boiler machine, there is virtually no wait time between pulling a shot and using the steam wand. Super simple. The design is also a huge plus. It just looks great on the counter with a nice space for warming cups on top. Big fan and so happy with the purchase!
Great little coffee scale. Everything works perfect. Order delivery was very quick as well.
Works amazing. Make the best coffee with the beans grinded from the budget friendly (relative to the competition) and really can’t complain
Maybe it’s luck, but this grinder dialed in on my first shot. I bought this as a secondary grinder to my Mignon Zero 55. I decided to use this grinder as my decaf grinder. I set the grinder at 1.5 and it pulled so well I don’t even need to adjust. I do a 1:2.5 ratio on my decaf in 30 seconds and that’s what I got with this grinder. Very little retention near zero on first shot. Build is solid and the only thing that’s an adjustment for me is the small hole to pour the coffee into for the single does compared to the Mignon zero.
