Note about water hardness

Using hard water will ruin your espresso machine. Soft water no higher than 50ppm is required to keep your espresso machine running for the long term. Using hard water will void the warranty.

A great espresso grinder for the price point

Overall, I'm happy with the product. As someone who is new to the world of espresso, I felt this grinder did exactly what it's supposed to do. It allowed me to tinker with various settings to extract the best espresso. It pairs well with my Turin Legato V2 as well.

DF54

Have been using it daily for about 2 weeks. I like the size and weight of it (about half the size of Bambino Plus), feels well made and sturdy. So far it grinds very consistently and am not noticing issues with static (got a metal catch cup) or retention in the chute. It runs louder than the hand grinder, obviously, but it isn’t as loud as the blade style grinder I used to have for drip. Seems to be a great value for the price and am happy so far. Shipping was very quick for the in stock grinder!

Great quality grinder that worked straight out of the box

I've been enjoying this grinder from the moment it arrived. I read that the DF54 grind setting wouldn't be at "true zero" but this one was dialed in perfectly without having to do any extra work. I've been following Espresso Outlet's instructions on use/care and haven't had any issues at all.

Great little grinder!

This grinder made it so much easier to dial in for my espresso shots! The only weird thing about it is I feel like when I touch it there is some bizarre electrical “force” I can feel.
