Note about water hardness

Using hard water will ruin your espresso machine. Soft water no higher than 50ppm is required to keep your espresso machine running for the long term. Using hard water will void the warranty.

Best for Brew

Very nice travel grinder and really not bad for any style of brew coffee. It will grind fine enough for espresso, but the grind is not a true espresso grind. Shots taste like coffee....not espresso. I'm going to match it up with an aeropress and expect to get some really nice cups. ~ The grinder quality seems to be excellent. Solid and quiet.

Build quality, relatively quiet and easy to adjust.

I was using my DF64v as my pour over grinder. When I saw this grinder I thought it would look great next to my DF64v which I now use for espresso. I don't like the cup for this grinder so I am using the cup and stand from my DF64v. I have been using this grinder with my Orea V3 and Tricolate Brewer. Great value for the build quality and low RPM. I have not experienced any stalls.
