Note about water hardness
Using hard water will ruin your espresso machine. Soft water no higher than 50ppm is required to keep your espresso machine running for the long term. Using hard water will void the warranty.
Colombia Nariño Aponte - Royal Reserva Honey
CUP PROFILE: Blackberry, Fruit Punch, Expressive
Loud and lively, this coffee greets you with a bold citrus and floral aroma that sets the tone for an adventurous cup. When hot, it boasts a delightful texture reminiscent of melted candy, with flavors of blackberry, mixed berries, and a pop of lemon brightness balanced by a tea-like dryness. As it warms, the dryness mellows, allowing the aroma to truly shine—light, delicate, yet vibrant and expressive.
Brewed with our AeroPress, the cup reveals fruity citrus and floral notes in its wet aroma, underscored by sweet citrus, blackberry, and a subtle "coffee cherry" essence.
As it cools, the coffee evolves into something truly special: a harmonious blend of soft peach and coffee cherry seed base, with juicy fruit cocktail sweetness and a lingering floral finish. Smooth, sweet, and effortlessly drinkable.
Most coffees from Colombia are processed using the traditional washed method. This lot, however, goes through a more complex honey process that involves leaving the bean to dry in its mucilage for 20-45 days, using the heavy, cold winds of the region to help promote an even drying process. The producers of this region, an indigenous community called the Inga, were part of the northernmost Inca empire, which colonized the south of Colombia in the late 14th century. Land here is communal, and the population is ruled by a “cabildo” or group of elders who make sure ancestral traditions are upheld. The population of this area have unfortunately been affected by earthquakes in recent years and have turned to specialty coffee to help produce income for the region.
Resting Suggestions:
For drip brewing, allow 14 days from the roast date for optimal flavor. For espresso, we recommend resting 2-3 weeks. However, if you're running low on coffee, feel free to brew it sooner!

★★★★★Beverly BGreat Service! It has been a few months since I purchased my machine, but I absolutely love it. Initially I had some issues with damage from shipping, but Joe took care of it immediately so there were no problems. He also stayed on the phone with me for a long time the day I received my machine so I could get everything working properly. I highly recommend!

It’s one thing to watch videos on a product you’re interested in but when you finally get it on your bar….
This espresso machine is a dream come true.
I’ve been into espresso about 2 yrs now. I trained myself on a Gaggia Clasic Pro . Still have it but have expanded my bar. Included in my bar are Bezerra Duo and LaPavoni Stradivari. The Duo is an excellent machine but not easy to have much control over shots. The lever is fun to use but again not easily repeatable pulls.
The Data has provided way more control over different types of shots. It also gives ability to replicate shots without having to adjust day to day. I’m very happy with this new coffee product.
Quick and great service, fast shipping, great product. Nothing else I can ask for!
I reached out to customer service after placing my order because of a shipping label error on my end, and it was promptly resolved prior to the unit being shipped.
I also did a lot of research before committing to this purchase and I found the df64 gen 2.3 to be in my price range for going "big" into making espresso based drinks at home. The grinder arrived, burrs aligned really well (within 1mm of zero), and it operates much quieter than I expected it to grind, as it seems so loud in the videos that I watched. Very impressed with this grinder but the only previous coffee grinder experience that I have to compare it with, is a krupps gx5000 that I got for making cold brews and regular home brew coffee that obviously not on the same level of quality grounds for espresso. (It is about the same noise level. Just a different frequency)
I'm also pretty impressed with the df64 zero retention that again, I have nothing to compare it to, but the grounds all weigh out the same as they do in, from the first 50, 16 gram shots I've ground through it so far. Nothing bad to say about this grinder, at all and the customer service seems personable thank you thank you
I'm absolutely loving my cf64v. It's much more quiet than my last grinder, easier to dial in and stay consistent, and has practically zero grind retention. I don't have any complaints at all with this grinder. Espresso outlet ships fast and has the best customer service.
Researched for ages as to what grinder to get. I was moving up from a Kivu hand grinder and I have to say this is definitely a step up. I drink mostly espresso, got the dlc burrs, and couldn’t be happier. Might get the sweet lab burrs at some point, but for now, I love it.

I purchased a new espresso machine from Espresso Outlet. When it arrived, the shipping box was damaged and machine had some issues including steam boiler not filling or heating. After speaking with Joe Kolb, without question, he began to ship a new replacement machine. Everything was taken care of within hours of receiving my first machine. Customer service is unparalleled! I can't recommend enough!
Great sturdy machine, which I believe will get even better gradually with refinement of the app.
I received my machine earlier this week. Had it out of the crate set up and paired with the app in no time. Machine build seems very solid and a quick peek at the internals when I took the top off (2 screws) to remove the protection film revealed a beautiful, well executed and roomy interior. Gear pump is something I never thought I’d need but it is amazing. I love the joysticks for steam hot water. Also I am accustomed to dual boilers and find this dual boiler, saturated group machine to heat up very quickly.
Huge plus, Tablet not even needed except to set machine parameters and run premade profiles (either pressure or flow) or make your own and you get feedback on your pull from it. Currently I just made a 9 bar flat 30 second profile to dial it. Will get into more elaborate preset and my own profiles as I get time.
I bound that 9 bar flat profile to the paddle, meaning unless I want to dive deeper I can run it just like any other machine with a switch and not even need a tablet. I have the option to just use it like a basic machine.
That flexibility and actuators for steam and water are just a couple of the features set apart from other machines that basically need the tablet to run.
Cup clearance is insane, I can fit a 12 oz paper go cup on my Acaia lunar with ease.
Imo even without the advanced features, this machine is as better than anything else in the price range.
I've really, really been enjoying my turin legato v2. Is works like a dream. There's literally nothing bad i have to say about it. Espresso outlet answered all my questions I had within 24hrs. I'll be choosing to shop with then again when I'm ready for a grinder upgrade. The legato v2 is the best option for the price, with all the loaded features right or is the box. No mods needed.
