What pressure profiling adds
Pressure control lets you explore how extraction develops instead of treating every shot as the same fixed-pressure event. It is most useful after you can repeat a dose, grind setting and target yield. Start with a straightforward profile and change one parameter at a time. A saved profile does not automatically correct uneven puck preparation or a poorly chosen grind.
Brew and steam capacity
Separate boilers provide independent brewing and steaming systems. This is useful for milk-drink preparation and temperature management, but boiler size alone does not predict a café’s sustainable drink output. If you are planning commercial service, confirm the exact application, required approvals and support arrangements before ordering.
Plan the installation first
The specified NEMA 5-20 connection requires a correctly wired dedicated 20A circuit. Do not assume a standard 15A kitchen receptacle is suitable or use an adapter to bypass the requirement. Have an electrician confirm an uncertain installation. Allow additional counter depth for the cord, hoses and working space; a tablet and stand also increase total height.
Choose the water configuration deliberately
Tank Only is the simpler choice when filling manually. Direct Connect + Tank adds the option of a permanent water supply. Plan compatible filtration, line pressure, shutoff access, leak protection and drainage with the installer. Confirm fittings before buying adapters. Water suitability matters for both the machine’s performance and its maintenance needs.
Startup and ownership
Follow the commissioning instructions supplied with your machine, including filling and priming before enabling heaters where required. Do not copy an isolated sequence of menu commands from an older video: firmware and configuration can differ.
