Rocket Appartamento TCA Blinking Red Light
A repeating red-light pattern on a Rocket Appartamento TCA needs model- and serial-specific diagnosis. A small number of early units reportedly required a warranty patch harness, but not every red light has that cause.
First checks
- Turn the machine off and unplug it.
- Let the machine cool fully.
- Confirm the reservoir is filled and seated and the steam valve is closed.
- Record the exact number, timing, and sequence of flashes.
- Photograph the serial label and take a short video from power-on through the fault.
- Contact the selling dealer before removing panels or ordering parts.
Early-production harness issue
For affected early units, the dealer may supply a short control-board patch cable after confirming the serial number. Treat it as a warranty repair, not a universal modification. The correct part and instructions must come from Rocket or the authorized seller.
Do not guess from the light alone
A cleaning reminder, configuration indication, reservoir problem, temperature fault, or control problem can require a different response. Follow the manual for the exact production version. Do not bypass sensors or continue heating a machine that will not fill, leaks, smells hot, or trips power.
Panel removal and electrical safety
