Note about water hardness

Using hard water will ruin your espresso machine. Soft water no higher than 50ppm is required to keep your espresso machine running for the long term. Using hard water will void the warranty.

Bang for the Buck

As a beginner, I was wanting a grinder that will stop my itch from constant upgrades until I purchase my end game set up. What I need right now is something to practice with and this was perfect. Dialing my espresso with DF54 has been a delight. I feel like I’m getting the most out of my bean's flavors. It’s sturdy, easy to clean, straightforward. There was some frustration with queueing up for the preorder but it was worth it. I’m glad i’m not telling myself, “I wish I got that other grinder.”. I will be using this for a long time until I get my La Marzocco. For the meantime, I’m happy to pair it with my Breville Bambino Plus.

Very pleased. Suprised how much quieter it operates than old kitchen aid and is much better for espresso

I am so impressed with this grinder, especially for the price. It was incredibly easy to dial in my espresso, and the stepless adjustment makes it easy to be precise. There is little to no retention so far. It’s not too noisy either, which is great for when I’m making a drink while the rest of the house is still asleep.

Within couple of hour of placing my order, I was contacted by Mr. Steve White from Espresso LLC, who informed me that the express delivery option I had chosen was temporarily unavailable and assured me that the extra fee would be refunded.
