Website was clear that delays would happen and was accurate about timing. The grinder came well packaged and was in good working order. It has been working well with a couple of dark roasts and I will try lighter as the grinder in my espresso machine could not get a cup I liked with lighter roasts. Satisfied so far.
I’m very pleased with this grinder! I’m able to go back and forth between making espresso and pour over brewing without any hassle, and I’ve been very pleased with the quality of the coffee I’ve gotten from it. The zero retention is as advertised as long as you keep the chute clean with the brush they provide.
Enjoying the grinder so far. It’s easy to use, quiet, and a huge upgrade over the conical grinder I was using. Was hesitant to buy refurbished, but the grinder was in great shape (looked new), was perfectly aligned right out of the box, and was packed well.
Just getting into espresso so wanted to get a well respected grinder with the option of upgrading in the future. Felt this was the best grinder at the price point that I could upgrade later with aftermarket burrs if I wanted. Watched a YouTube video to make sure it was aligned, had to do a little shimming, and then I was set to go! Still learning how to pull a great shot but this has certainly helped and I’ve had no problems with the grinder itself. Definitely recommend!
Long time drip coffee drinker. Wanted to get into espresso. Currently using a Flair Manual Pro 3 v2. This is a heavy duty grinder that produces great consistent grinds. Dialing in different coffees is kind of fun. I personally like the baffle. I think it's a great value.
Wow, amazing grinder with beautiful features. I have a 1Zpresso JX-Pro and really loved the hand grinder. Very portable to take on kayak camping weekends. However, it was time to step to an electric one for at home. Super classy in black and looks sophisticated on my coffee bar station. There are so many great grinders on the market and am happy to land on this one. There are a lot of technical features I love about this grinder. Watch reviews from Lance H, James H and others. You'll see what there is to love. There is a bit of a learning curve, but there are video's out there to help. I'm using for espresso and also pour overs. I pre-ordered and Espresso Outlet was great regarding the tariff debacle and got mine mid April. I'll definitely be ordering from them again.
In perfect condition, looks like it was never used at all. Easy to use, and makes no mess unlike my last grinder.
Everything went according to plan, paid money, they shipped, I received, pretty par for the course,
Love my new Turin, it is helping me level up my extraction and frothing milk. I can also play with the bars of pressure and water flow. Tgank you to Espresso Outlet for always giving great customer service and assistance!
As looking for a single dose grinder that could grind through the range and this seemed to be the best choice. Glad I went with the SD40S. It’s very well built, rather quiet and does not take up a ton of counter space. Feels very substantial with some good heft to it. The grinding dial is a bit different than what is in most pics and goes up to “8” with one full rotation with several small clicks in between. I’ve found that you can go past one full turn and the grind continues to become more course. My basic yet modified Delonghi EC155 espresso maker cannot handle grinds less than “7” on the dial; too fine, no water flow, over extracts so still trying to dial this in. I go out to one full rotation and then setting “3” for auto drip and this has worked out very well. I unplug between uses or a power light stays on constantly. Really happy with my purchase and Espresso Outlet answered some questions in a very timely manner after purchasing. Don’t hesitate!
